SERVICE & SHIPPING
Service, Shipping, and Showrooms: Frequently Asked Questions
We want you to feel well taken care of, not just when drinking coffee, but also with everything related to ordering, delivery, and service. Here you'll find the most important information. If you have questions about equipment and preparation, please check our Buying Guide or the Preparation and Troubleshooting section.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
Delivery within Switzerland and to Liechtenstein usually takes 2 to 4 business days. Shipping is free for orders over CHF 60. We ship with reliable Swiss parcel services, and you will receive a tracking number via email.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, Twint, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and prepayment. For larger purchases, we also offer financing options. You can find details on our Bundle Offers page.
Can I finance equipment?
Yes. For larger investments, we offer financing options and bundle deals with store credit. This allows you to put together your dream setup without having to pay for everything at once. You can find all current conditions on our Bundle Offers page.
Can I return products?
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If a product arrives damaged or does not match what you ordered, please contact us at office@coffeecoachingclub.ch and we will find a solution together. For unopened and unused items, we offer a return option within 7 days of shipment. It is best to experience machines and grinders beforehand in our showrooms in Bern or Zurich to ensure they are the right fit for you.
Can I see equipment before buying?
Yes, that's exactly what our showrooms are for. In the Coffee Coaching Club Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and the Zurich Oerlikon Showroom (Hagenholzstrasse 50b), you can find portafilter machines and coffee grinders from our range.
As a coffee roastery, we use the same machines and grinders ourselves daily. This means we advise you based on our own experience, not from a catalog. If you want to see a specific model, please contact us briefly beforehand to ensure it is currently in the showroom.
What is the difference between the showrooms in Bern and Zurich?
Our Showroom in Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) is our larger location, covering approximately 180 m², with a wider selection of machines and grinders. The Bern location (Gerberngasse 44) is our origin: café, roastery, and showroom all in one, with a curated selection of the most popular models. Both locations offer personal advice and the opportunity to experience equipment live.
Do you offer barista courses or workshops?
Yes, we offer various formats:
Private Barista Workshop – A personal 1-on-1 or 1-on-2 training where you learn on professional equipment from our showroom. Espresso extraction, milk frothing, latte art creation. Available in German and English.
Workshop with your own equipment – We come to you and conduct the workshop with your machine and grinder, in your kitchen or office.
Team Event Workshops – Company events as team-building activities. We put together something individual for your team.
Coffee Tastings – Sensory training for 1 to 18 people. You taste different origins and roast profiles and sharpen your aroma perception.
Latte Art Course – Learn the art of perfect milk foam and patterns in the cup.
Is a barista course included with the purchase of a machine?
Yes. When you purchase a portafilter machine with a value of CHF 1500 or more, an introductory course of approximately 60 minutes is included. This covers our extraction philosophy, your personal espresso ritual, and everything you need to enjoy using your machine from day one. The course is tailored to your individual setup. You can take it at the showroom in Bern or Zurich.
Which brands does the Coffee Coaching Club carry?
We carry over 80 brands that you can buy from us in Switzerland. For machines, these include La Marzocco, Rocket Espresso, Arkel, ECM, Profitec, and Flair Espresso. For grinders, Mahlkönig, Eureka, Option-O, Weber Workshops, Comandante, and Varia. For accessories, Normcore, Acaia, and many more. We are the official Swiss importer for numerous brands. Are you a coffee roastery or an equipment shop?
Both. That's our unique selling point. We roast our own coffee beans in Zurich and at the same time sell the equipment we work with daily. Machines, grinders, and tools that we use ourselves and are convinced of. This means: if we recommend a grinder or machine to you, it's because we know it, not because we read about it in a catalog. That's our approach to good advice. Also use our consultation tool for initial guidance.
Do you also repair coffee machines?
For machines purchased from us, we offer support and help with problems. For technical questions about equipment from our range, we are happy to advise you. For comprehensive repairs and maintenance, we recommend specialized workshops. Tips for daily care and cleaning can be found in our Preparation and Troubleshooting section.
