Ascaso Barista T One – Commercial Espresso Machine with T-Technology
During the rush, every second counts – and every cup has to be right. That's exactly what the Barista T One is built for: fresh water for every shot, stable temperature at every group, and a design that makes the workflow behind the counter easy.
The Ascaso Barista T One is a 2- or 3-group commercial espresso machine, made in Barcelona. Instead of a classic E61 or saturated groups, Ascaso relies on its own T-Technology – it allows precise, energy-conscious work in continuous operation.
T-Technology – thermoblock instead of standing boiler water
Every brew group has its own coffee thermoblock, plus a separate, insulated 8.5-litre steam boiler. The water for every espresso comes fresh from the mains via the rotary pump and is heated to the exact point in the thermoblock – so it doesn't sit hot in a boiler permanently. The entire water circuit is made of stainless steel and pure copper.
This delivers two things: consistent temperature, whether you're pulling shots continuously or in waves, and a clean cup profile without the aftertaste of repeatedly reheated water. According to Ascaso, this design saves around 50 percent energy compared to a classic machine and about 25 percent compared to other multi-boiler machines; individual groups can be switched off and are ready to brew again from cold in around one minute.
PID, dosing and steam
Every group and the steam boiler are PID-controlled – the temperature stays stable within about ±0.5 °C, set to an accuracy of 0.1 °C. Via the digital display per group, you program volumetric quantities and a fully adjustable pre-infusion (accurate to 0.1 s). You control the steam via either a joystick or a rotary knob, both with wood details; the stainless steel cool-touch wands stay cool to the touch on the outside. Dynamic preheating and electronic auto-level are included.
Configurations
The Barista T One comes in 2- or 3-group versions, in black or white, each with joystick or rotary knob control. Optionally expandable with boiler insulation, an illuminated logo of your choice, or raised groups (12 cm) for tall vessels and to-go cups. We're happy to work out in person which configuration fits your operation.

Which type of business
The Barista T One is designed for cafés, restaurants, bakeries and offices that want to pour good espresso reliably and in volume. The 2-group version covers most café situations; the 3-group version is made for high volume and rush hours. Both share the same technology – more groups simply mean more throughput.
What goes with it
A commercial machine is only as good as its grinder. In our Coffee Grinders collection you'll find suitable commercial grinders from Mahlkönig and Mazzer – from solid everyday use to high-performance grinders for multiple groups. For pouring, we recommend beans from our Coffee Beans, tuned for high throughput. Not sure about the configuration? Our Coffee Machine Comparison and Consultation can help.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Ascaso Barista T One have saturated groups or an E61?
No. Ascaso uses T-Technology: independent coffee thermoblocks per group and a separate 8.5-litre steam boiler. The water for every shot comes fresh from the mains – there's no permanently heated boiler water sitting around.
2 or 3 groups – what fits my business?
The 2-group version covers most cafés, the 3-group version is made for high volume and rush hours. Technology and features are identical, the 3-group version simply offers more throughput.
What is the joystick on the Barista T One for?
The joystick controls the steam intuitively; alternatively there's a rotary knob, both with wood details. The coffee shot runs volumetrically and is PID-controlled.
How energy-efficient is the Barista T One?
According to Ascaso, T-Technology saves around 50 percent energy compared to a classic machine and about 25 percent compared to other multi-boiler machines. Individual groups can be switched off and are ready to brew again in around one minute.
Where can I buy the Ascaso Barista T One and how does delivery work?

From the roastery: for high-volume pouring, bold, chocolatey profiles run the most reliably. We recommend Cozy Chocolate, Nutty Delight and Very Nutty – round and nutty, strong with milk too. For a fruity, light note on the menu, look to Wild Peach or Bright Cassis in our Coffee Beans. That's our recommendation, one of many.
