Inside, a four-stage filtration does the work: an ultra-fine mesh holds back coarse particles, activated carbon binds substances that affect taste and smell such as chlorine, and ion-exchange resin reduces limescale as well as metals like lead and copper. The result is softer, cleaner water that lets tea and coffee develop their aroma more clearly – and protects kettles, carafes, and coffee machines from scale buildup.
