ECM wall mount – stainless steel wall holder for two portafilters, tamper and brushes
Everything hangs within reach on the wall, nothing lies around on the counter any more, and your morning moves get shorter.
It sounds trivial, but it changes your routine more than most accessories. When the second portafilter, the tamper and the brush always hang in the same place, at some point your hand reaches there on its own. What begins as routine becomes a ritual – and rituals are the reason espresso at home is more than a drink. The limbic system links movement, smell and place; the anticipation of the first sip already begins as you reach for the wall.
Then there's the practical side: a second portafilter hanging within reach means warm spouts and no swapping in the middle of a shot. If you pull two cups in a row, you work more smoothly.
What sets it apart
The holder is made of stainless steel and carries the ECM emblem. It has room for two portafilters, one tamper and several brushes. ECM states the size without anything hung on it as 364 x 250 x 70 millimetres – that fits next to most machines on a free stretch of wall or on the side of a wall cabinet.
The accessories shown are not included. What you hang on it is up to you – and so is whether a wall is the right place for it at all. Some like an open shelf, others want a clear counter. Both work. Our opinion is one of many.

Who it's made for
For anyone whose counter around the machine is getting crowded. Two portafilters, a tamper, a distributor, a brush – it adds up quickly, and at some point everything is in the way. On the wall, every piece has its place and the space in front of the machine stays free for cups and scale.
Just as much for anyone who likes to see their setup. A portafilter on the wall is visible craft, not a tool tucked away. Design and feel influence enjoyment before the first sip – if you want it, you know why. You'll find matching machines and parts in the ECM Collection; we're an ECM partner, and the Home Line machines are handmade in Milan.
What goes with it
A holder for two portafilters only makes sense with the second portafilter. Among the portafilters and bottomless portafilters you'll find the versions with spout and the bottomless ones that show how the shot is really running.
The tamper spot wants filling too. Among the tampers, both routes sit side by side: the Spring-Loaded Tamper from Normcore for anyone who wants affordable and precise – the tamper from Weber Workshops for anyone who wants more. And if you're rearranging anyway: coffee scales follow the same pattern, Normcore for the affordable route, Acaia with app and flow-rate display for anyone who wants more. Extraction is described most honestly by the weight ratio, with 1:2 as a starting point.
Frequently asked questions
What fits on the wall mount?
Two portafilters, one tamper and several brushes. The accessories shown are not included.
How big is the holder?
ECM states 364 x 250 x 70 millimetres, measured without anything hung on it.
Do portafilters from other brands fit too?
The holder is made for ECM portafilters. Portafilters from other manufacturers with a comparable head size usually fit as well – if you want to be sure, tell us your model and we'll look at it together.
Is mounting hardware included?
ECM doesn't say. Since wall plugs and screws have to suit your particular wall anyway, it's worth having the right hardware for your own wall ready.
Can I see the product before buying?
Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there. If you order online: delivery to Switzerland and Liechtenstein takes 2 to 4 working days.
From the roastery
Once the setup is in place, it's only about the bean. Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight are what we most often have in the grinder: dense, aromatic, full-bodied, with caramel and chocolate. If you're after maximum body without any acidity, go for Very Nutty. And for the curious, Wild Peach is ready – fruity and lively, a discovery on the side. That's our recommendation, one of many; any other bean works just as well.
