Eureka Mignon Single Dosing Kit
One portion of beans into the hopper, grind, one press on the bellows, done. The Eureka Mignon Single Dosing Kit switches the Mignon from a bean hopper to grinding by the portion.
The kit contains four parts: a single-dose hopper made of Tritan with a rotating metal tab, a silicone Blow-Up, a dosing cup and a multipurpose fork, both made of metal. According to Eureka, the hopper holds 45 g.
What single dosing changes
With single dosing, no beans sit in reserve above the burrs. You weigh each portion, and until then the beans stay in an airtight container, for example a bean canister with a valve.
The Blow-Up uses a puff of air to push out the grounds that remain in the chute after grinding. This way more of the weighed dose ends up in the cup. Grind by weight, 1:2 as a starting point, then adjust to taste.

Who it is made for
For everyone with a Eureka Mignon who changes beans often, alternates between espresso and filter, or simply wants to grind fresh portions. The factory bean hopper works just as well. Single dosing is a question of workflow, and our opinion is one of many.
