Eureka complete portafilter rest – so your portafilter sits straight again
The rest holds the portafilter in position while grinding. It carries the weight, it absorbs every knock when the portafilter is inserted, and it determines whether the coffee falls into the centre of the basket. On a grinder that grinds many doses a day, it is one of the most heavily stressed parts of all.
If the rest becomes soft, bent or worn, the portafilter tilts slightly forward. The ground coffee then no longer lands in the centre but against the wall of the basket – and every attempt to rescue this by distributing costs time and consistency.
When it is due
When the portafilter wobbles in the rest or tilts forward. When the rest is visibly bent, cracked or rubbed shiny at the contact points. When the ground coffee constantly sits to one side of the basket even though the discharge chute is fine. And when screws keep coming loose because the material has given way.

Who it is for

Tip from our workshop
After the replacement, we first tighten the rest hand-tight, insert the portafilter, align it horizontally and only then tighten it fully. If you start with full torque straight away, you build the misalignment right in. This is our routine from Bern and Zurich, not a manufacturer specification. For dialling in afterwards, we use Nutty Delight, for chocolatey notes Cozy Chocolate and for body Very Nutty. All roasts under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fit on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a short message and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.

Does the rest fit every Atom?
The Atom comes in several sizes and generations. Send us the serial number of your grinder and we will check the fit before you order.
Is the rest intended for 58 mm portafilters?
The rest is supplied to match the model series. We are happy to clarify by email in advance which portafilter diameter you are using.
How can I tell that the rest, and not the discharge chute, is to blame?
Insert the portafilter and look at it from the side. If it does not sit horizontally or can be pushed down, the rest is the cause.
Is the part supplied complete?
Yes, this item is the complete rest. We are happy to tell you in advance which small parts are included.
Can I see the part in the showroom?
