The rubber buffer that takes the hum out of the counter
Anti-vibration buffers decouple components from the housing. They absorb the vibration that would otherwise travel through the frame into the counter and turn into a hum you can hear across the whole room in the morning. This buffer has an M4 thread, male and female.
Rubber ages. After a few years in the heat it hardens, tears at the base or settles, and then the component sits rigidly against the panel again. The sound changes, usually gradually. The part number is F.2.022.
When it's due
- The machine hums louder or sounds harsher than before.
- The rubber is hard, cracked or compressed.
- The buffer has torn out at the base of the thread.
- A component noticeably rests against the housing panel.

Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a trial fit on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.

How do I know whether M4 is the right size?
Give us the model and serial number as well as the installation location, and we'll check F.2.022 for you.
Does this help with loud operating noise?
If the old dampers are hard or cracked, often noticeably. If the cause is something else, write to us and tell us what you hear.
