The clip that keeps the hose between tank and pump in place
Under the cover of the GS3, a PVC hose runs from the water tank to the pump, and a small clip holds it where it belongs. You never get to see this part as long as it does its job. You only see it when it is lying on the floor during a service or crumbles in your hand, broken.
If the hose no longer sits firmly on the connector, the pump draws in air instead of water. You hear it straight away: the pump gets louder, the shot becomes unsteady, and in the worst case the machine runs dry. The part number of this clip is F.3.009.

- The clip is broken, cracked or missing entirely after a service.
- The hose is visibly loose on the connector or can be pulled off by hand.
- The pump gets louder or is audibly drawing in air.
- Moisture appears around the hose connector under the cover.

Important for installation
The clip sits inside the machine, next to components that carry water and are connected to mains voltage. Only work on the machine when it is switched off, disconnected from the mains and cooled down, and take the water tank out first.
The clip alone is rarely the whole answer: if it is broken, it is worth taking a look at the hose itself and at the connector it sits on. We deliberately do not provide step-by-step instructions here; if you are unsure, have the service done.

When a GS3 is open at our workshops in Bern and Zurich, we put the small parts on a light-coloured cloth instead of on the workbench – a black clip on a dark surface is gone before you look. And before closing, we count what belongs back in the machine. That is our routine, not a manufacturer's requirement. Returns excluded
Service parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together.
