A clear steam path for clean milk foam on the Linea Classic
The steam wand brings the steam to the milk. It is at full temperature with every use and is wiped off afterwards. Over the years, limescale builds up in the openings, and a focused jet turns into a restless hiss. This version carries the number L171.R.
Before ordering, check whether your Classic needs the L171 wand or the T.2.125 version. The part number is L171.R.

Important for installation
The wand sits on a steam-carrying line that gets very hot during operation. That is why we do not provide step-by-step instructions. The machine must be depressurised and cooled down, and the replacement belongs in the hands of a specialist.

Because there are two wand versions for the Classic, we compare the old wand with the replacement before swapping – that way it fits first time. That is our routine, not a manufacturer's specification. Then we pull an espresso with Very Nutty and check that everything is right – more in our coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.

My foam has got worse – does the wand have to be replaced?
Not necessarily. First descale thoroughly and clean the openings. That is often enough.
