The black cover above the group – for the Micra in black
On the Linea Micra in black, the cover above the brew group is one of the few parts that really define its appearance. It sits in full view on the group, right where your hand passes when inserting the portafilter.
And that is exactly why everyday use shows on it. Every fingerprint stands out on matte black, rinse water leaves pale limescale streaks, and a handle that knocks against the edge when inserted leaves a mark that flashes bright against the dark background. Technically the cover can take it – visually, not forever.
When it is due
Replace it when the surface is scratched over a large area or worn through at the edges. When a spot has chipped off and the lighter base material shows through. When the cover has a dent or a knock. When a fastening has torn out and it no longer sits snugly. And when you want to change the colour of your Micra – black, chrome and white are three separate parts.

Who it is for
For anyone with a black Micra who wants the machine to look uniform again – and for anyone deliberately converting a chrome Micra to black.

From our workshop in Bern and Zurich
Our own routine, not a manufacturer's specification: on the Micra, we clean matte black surfaces only with a slightly damp microfibre cloth and without any cleaning agent. Anything containing surfactants leaves a slight glossy film on matte black over time, and it is noticeable precisely in side light. Once the machine is clean again, we pull the first shot – on the Micra preferably with Nutty Delight. It gets more chocolatey with Cozy Chocolate, bolder with Very Nutty. Everything under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after being installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or send us a quick message and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.

What number does the black version have?
C.1.661.60. The chrome version has C.1.661, the white one its own number.
Is this the same as the brew group cover RAL 9006?
No. The cover in RAL 9006 has its own part number and is a different part. If in doubt, send us a photo.
Can I use it to convert my chrome Micra to black?
The cover fits. Whether the other visible parts then match is up to you – the front panel and housing are also available in black.
Can I replace it myself?
It is an external housing part. Switch the machine off beforehand, disconnect it from the mains and let it cool down – underneath sits the hot brew group.
Can I see the part in your showroom?
