La Marzocco M4 x 8 Phillips screw – the stainless steel housing screw
Housing screws are the parts nobody orders until one is missing. Then the side panel sits loose, the sheet metal rattles along during grinding, and the small parts drawer holds plenty, but nothing in stainless steel of the right length.
This original spare part is the genuine M4 x 8 Phillips housing screw in stainless steel, part number I.1.006. One screw is supplied. If you are refitting an entire side, order several accordingly.
When it's due
When a housing screw is missing or was left in the toolbox after the last service. When the Phillips recess is stripped and the screwdriver just spins. When a screw has started to rust – which happens quickly in a damp coffee environment with non-stainless replacements from the DIY store. And during any refurbishment where the housing should look clean again.

Who it's for
For service workshops replacing missing housing screws after maintenance. For cafés where a panel rattles. And for anyone who has taken over a used machine that someone has patched up with DIY-store screws.
What goes with it
From the same small-parts corner come the M4 x 6 stainless steel grub screw and the D13 cover cap for M8 hex socket screws. If you are working on the feet, you'll find the M10 x 25 screw for the rear machine foot here. Everything else: La Marzocco accessories and spare parts and Original spare parts.
Workshop tip from Bern and Zurich
Our routine, not a manufacturer requirement: when we open a machine, we put all the housing screws in a shallow dish and count them before we start. If one is missing at the end, we know straight away and not only once the panel rattles. And yes, we keep a few of each kind in stock – that's cheaper than a second service call. Coffee to go with it: Nutty Delight, Cozy Chocolate or Very Nutty from our bean selection.
Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a trial fitting on the machine. So please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine before ordering – or drop us a quick line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
How many screws do I get?
This item is a single screw. If you are screwing on an entire side, order the matching quantity – or drop us a quick line and we'll put them together for you.
Which machine does it fit?
The service documentation assigns it generally to the housing of La Marzocco machines without naming a specific model. That's why there is no model tag here either. Send us the serial number and we'll check the fit.
Is this the same screw as the M4 grub screw?
No. The M4 x 6 grub screw is a separate item with its own number and has no head. This one is an M4 x 8 Phillips screw.
Why not just use a screw from the DIY store?
You can, but it rarely lasts long. In the damp environment of an espresso machine, zinc-plated steel rusts, and the rust ring on the panel stays visible afterwards.
Can I pick up the part from you?
Yes. We have two showrooms: Bern at Gerberngasse 44 and Zurich at Hagenholzstrasse 50b. Let us know beforehand and the part will be ready for you.
