What misses ends up back where it belongs
Whatever doesn't land in the filter basket when dosing collects under the portafilter support. The grounds tray catches exactly that: ground coffee that falls past the edge and the fine dust that adds up to a surprising amount over the day. It can be removed, emptied and wiped out without having to move the grinder.
A tray like this breaks through handling. It gets dropped, an edge breaks, a rib cracks – and then it no longer sits properly in its guide. The ground coffee finds its way past it, and the work surface under the grinder becomes a problem.

It's due when the tray has cracks or broken spots, when it no longer sits in the guide without play, when the plastic has warped or when ground coffee trickles underneath even with the tray in place.

At closing time we empty the tray and wipe it out dry instead of putting it back in wet. Damp grounds cake on and can later only be scraped off, which roughens the plastic – that's our routine, not a manufacturer's specification. No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on the device. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.

Does the tray also fit the LABO 70 D?
Our documentation lists C00072003 for the LABO D. We're happy to check in advance whether your version takes the same tray – send us a photo or the serial number.
Is the portafilter support included?
No, only the tray is supplied.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Our documentation gives no information on this. From experience, we clean plastic parts by hand because they can warp in the dishwasher.
What colour is the tray?
Our documentation says nothing about the colour. If it matters to you, just ask us before ordering.
Can I pick up the part from your shop?
