Mahlkönig Burr Puller – E80S / GbW
The Mahlkönig burr puller 703290 for the E80S, E80S GbW and E80W GbS espresso grinders. Original spare part, available in Bern and Zurich.
Mahlkönig lists it as Pulling Tool, E80S / GbW / GbS. You use it to remove the burr carrier, for example for a burr change or other maintenance work.
For the E80S series during maintenance
The E65S, K30/PEAK and EK43/DK15 have their own burr pullers with different part numbers. You will find them all under Grinder accessories and spare parts. After the change, as before, the weight ratio counts for extraction, not the time. For espresso, 1:2 is a good starting point.

Who it is made for
For everyone who changes the burrs on their E80S, E80S GbW or E80W GbS themselves or removes the burr carrier for maintenance. You will find more parts under Grinder accessories and spare parts, and the grinders themselves in our Mahlkönig collection.
A grinder goes with a scale. For affordable, precise scales: Normcore. If you want an app, Bluetooth and a flow-rate display: Acaia. Care products for your grinder are in Machine and grinder cleaning. Our advice tool shows which grinder suits your setup.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need the burr puller for?
Mahlkönig describes it as a tool for removing the burr carrier, for a burr change or other maintenance work on the E80S, E80S GbW and E80W GbS.
Does it also fit the E65S?
No. The E65S series has its own burr puller, which we carry under Grinder accessories and spare parts. Mahlkönig USA additionally lists the E80T GbS for this tool. Some retailers list only the E80S and E80S GbW. If you are unsure, send us the model and serial number at [email protected].
Can I see the part before buying?
Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Whether the spare part is on site, we are happy to confirm by email in advance at [email protected].
Tip from the roastery: For espresso from the E80S we recommend Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight, both dense, round and chocolatey. If you want maximum body without acidity, take Very Nutty. And if you want to discover something fruity, you will find it in Wild Peach. That is our recommendation, one of many.
