You place the cup on the aluminum plate, tap the mode on the display, and weight, time, and flow rate are shown right in front of you – directly on the device, without reaching for your smartphone.
The NECCST Scale is a brewing coffee scale with a full 3.2-inch touchscreen and a resolution of 0.1 grams. It focuses on operation directly on the device rather than via an app – designed by the Munich studio Eckstein Design.
Three Modes, One Control Panel
In Grind Mode, you weigh to an accuracy of 0.1 grams during grinding. In Brew Mode, weight and time run simultaneously – ideal for espresso (target weight plus time) or French Press. In Advanced Mode, the live flow rate in grams per second is added: you'll see channeling immediately in the curve, instead of tasting it in the cup. All modes are controlled directly on the touchscreen, completely without an app.
Material and Everyday Use
The weighing plate made of anodized aluminum measures 12.5 cm in diameter – space for two cups side by side. On top sits an anti-fingerprint glass, underneath a CNC-milled base. It is charged via USB-C, and a 100-gram calibration weight is included. With a height of only 20.9 mm, it fits under most spout heights.
