    The details in everyday use

    Four modes

M is the manual mode, E the espresso mode, P1 calculates the weight for pour-over, P2 works with the brew ratio. The display shows mode, timer, battery, weight and flow rate.

    Physical buttons and function switch

The buttons prevent accidental touches while brewing. With the function switch you change the unit to the left, the mode to the right and the sound downwards.

Brewing by weight ratio is our preferred way of working. For espresso, we grind fine, start at 14.5 grams and work our way up from there, usually to 17 grams, at a ratio below 1:2. That is just our view, one of many.

Yes, in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b). We answer questions at [email protected].

Roastery tip: Brewing by weight lets you taste your beans more clearly. For dense, sweet espresso, we like to reach for Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. If you like it full and round without any acidity, stay with Very Nutty; for a fruity experience, Wild Peach goes into the grinder. That is our recommendation, one of many.
