What makes this dosing cup special
Inside, there's a distribution tool that breaks up clumps in the grounds and reduces static electricity when shaken. This allows the coffee to fall more evenly into the portafilter, which can help reduce channeling. The cup can also be used directly as a funnel over the portafilter, and the magnet holds it in position.
It is made of anodized aluminum with a neodymium magnet, available for 58-, 54-, and 51-mm portafilters. The parts can be disassembled for cleaning. Whether you use it as a cup, funnel, or both is a matter of taste, and this is just our view, one of many.
