Normcore Milk Pitcher with Handle – Pointed Spout for Fine Latte Art

Your thumb rests on the handle, your hand instinctively knows the grip, and the narrow spout draws a fine, steady line across the crema. If you like the familiar feel of a handle, this pitcher offers classic control – with a spout designed for detail.

We are the importer of Normcore in Switzerland and stock the range directly from our warehouse. If you buy an espresso machine from us, you get a 60-minute introductory course in Bern, Zurich, or online – where we froth and pour together, and a pitcher like this is exactly the tool for that.

Handle or Handleless – Two Ways to Hold a Pitcher

With a handle, you have the familiar leverage and some distance from the heat of the pitcher – many feel secure with it from the very first minute. The handleless range, on the other hand, places the pitcher directly in your hand. Neither way is better; they just feel different. You can find the handleless versions in our Normcore Collection. This is our view, one of many.

Why the Pointed Spout Makes Fine Patterns Accessible

The spout is the last point the milk touches before it hits the crema – a bit like the nib of a fountain pen determining the line you draw. The pointed, narrow spout creates a finer, slightly slower stream. This makes detailed patterns like Rosetta, Swan, or the delicate Tulip accessible, because you can draw thin lines precisely.

How the Image is Created – Some Thoughts on Pouring

In latte art, there's no right or wrong, only what you like. The milk should have a dense, glossy microfoam that moves like wet paint – without large bubbles. It tastes sweetest before it gets too hot, around 60 to 65 degrees Celsius. You tilt the cup slightly, start from a little height, and then lower the pitcher close to the surface as you draw the line.

Two Sizes, Two Colors

The pitcher with a handle is available in 450 ml for one to two smaller drinks and in 600 ml for larger cups or two drinks in a row. Both in black and white – understated and clearly visible on the counter.

Coated – Therefore, Hand Wash Only

Black and white pitchers have a coating that protects the stainless steel and makes them look beautiful. To maintain this, as with all coated and colored items: hand wash only with a soft sponge and mild dish soap, no dishwasher, no abrasive cleaners, and no hard sponges.

Who This Pitcher is Made For

For everyone who likes the familiar handle and wants to pour fine patterns. If you prefer to feel the pitcher directly in your hand, you can find the handleless range in our Milk Pitcher Collection. Every way is right.

What Goes Well With It

The pitcher works well with any machine with a steam wand – from a manual Flair to a La Marzocco from our Coffee Machines Collection. If you are looking for an affordable, precise pitcher, Normcore is a good choice; if you want the particularly fine craftsmanship of Weber Workshops, you will find it in our Weber Workshops Collection.

Under the milk foam, everything meets the espresso: Our Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight provide the dense, chocolatey-nutty body that beautifully carries the white design.

Frequently Asked Questions

Handle or Handleless – Which is Better?

Neither is better. The handle provides familiar leverage and some distance from the heat; the handleless design places the pitcher more directly in your hand. It's a matter of feel.

Which Size Should I Choose, 450 or 600 ml?

450 ml is suitable for one to two smaller drinks. 600 ml is useful for larger cups or several cappuccinos in a row.

How Do I Clean the Coated Pitcher?

Hand wash with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. No dishwasher, no abrasive cleaners, and no hard sponges to preserve the coating.

Can I See the Pitcher Before Buying?

Yes, gladly. You can experience it live in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b). You can buy it online throughout Switzerland and to Liechtenstein, with delivery in 2–4 business days.

From the roastery: Fine patterns require a smooth, dense espresso underneath. Our Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight carry the design most beautifully – rounded, chocolatey, without overpowering it. If you like it stronger without any acidity, choose Very Nutty; if you are looking for a fruity experience, discover Wild Peach. This is our recommendation, one of many.
