Normcore Spring-Loaded Tamper V4.1 Mini 58.5 mm
Small in hand, clear in result. You tamp, feel the defined resistance of the spring, and the tamp sits – even if there's hardly any space on the countertop. Its short design makes it handy, without compromising consistency.
The compact version of the spring-loaded V4.1 – approx. 75 mm high instead of the nearly 100 mm of the standard version.
What makes the V4.1 Mini special
The spring-loaded mechanism removes the variable of daily hand pressure from the tamp: a pre-calibrated spring always releases the same force once it's activated. This makes the tamp comparable from shot to shot, which helps with dialing in. Its compact height of around 75 mm makes it particularly handy – pleasant in small kitchens and for mobile setups.
The base plate is made of 304 stainless steel, smooth and robust. Interchangeable springs are included – 15 lb, 25 lb, and 30 lb, with the medium one already installed – plus a tamper stand. Whether you prefer the compact or the full height is a matter of taste, and this is just our view, one of many.

Roastery Tip
A handy tamper fits any setup, small or large. For dense, sweet espresso, we like to reach for Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. If you like it full-bodied and round without any acidity, stick with Very Nutty; for a fruity experience, Wild Peach goes into the grinder. This is our recommendation, one of many, and every bean you like is the right one.
