What makes the Ultra-Slim Puck Screen special
With a thickness of only 0.2 mm, this puck screen takes up hardly any space in the portafilter and displaces hardly any dose – making it particularly uncomplicated for everyday use. It rests on top of the tamped coffee bed, ensures a smoother water flow, helps reduce channeling, and supports a more even extraction. At the same time, it keeps the shower screen of the brew group clean, because hardly any coffee grounds are pulled up when the lever is lifted.
The grid made of 316 stainless steel features a titanium PVD coating, which gives the surface its dark tone. With a mesh size of 200 microns, the screen supports a clean extraction. Whether you prefer an ultra-thin or a thicker screen is a matter of taste – this is just our view, one of many.
