Olympia Express Frothing Pitcher 50cl – Stainless Steel with Laser-Engraved Logo

The large Olympia milk pitcher with 50 cl volume for two cappuccinos simultaneously or more generous latte art sessions. Thick-walled stainless steel with a laser-engraved Olympia logo – not printed, but made to last forever. Very good thermal conductivity, which gives you tactile feedback during frothing: you feel the temperature through the wall. Made in Schwanden GL, to Olympia's manufacturing standard.

What makes this frothing pitcher special

Thick-walled stainless steel with laser-engraved logo

Substantial wall thickness, heavy in the hand, dimensionally stable for years. The Olympia logo is laser-engraved and survives every wash cycle without fading.

Very good thermal conductivity

Original Olympia wording: "very good thermal conductivity". When frothing, this means: you feel through the wall when the milk reaches 60 °C. Your hand gets warm, then uncomfortably warm – the pitcher becomes a thermometer in your hand. This is particularly helpful with the 50cl variant, because larger quantities of milk take longer to heat up.

50 cl: for two cups or more latte art scope

50 cl total volume, ideally filled with about 300 ml of milk for two parallel cappuccinos or a generous latte with scope for latte art attempts. Those who drink alone and make a maximum of one cappuccino per session should opt for the more compact 30cl variant.

50cl or 30cl – honestly compared

50cl: for multi-cup sessions

This pitcher here. For those who make cappuccinos or lattes for two or need more milk for latte art attempts.

30cl: for single users

The more compact Olympia Frothing Pitcher 30cl is the sleeker choice for daily single cappuccinos.

Who this pitcher is made for

For Olympia machine owners who regularly make several milk drinks in parallel, enjoy practicing latte art, or simply prefer the larger volume for more leeway. Also ideal for families or couples who enjoy cappuccino for two in the morning.

Accessories that match the milk frothing setup

2-hole steam nozzle for finer milk foam: in our Olympia Express Collection. Classic Italian 130 ml cappuccino cup: also there. Premium frothing pitchers with special spout shapes for advanced latte art: in our Weber Workshops Collection and the Milk Pitcher Collection.

Frequently asked questions

How much milk for two cappuccinos with the 50cl pitcher?

About 300 ml of cold milk, after frothing, yields the right amount for two classic Italian cappuccinos. When frothing, the volume increases by about 40%.

Can I also use the 50cl pitcher for just one cappuccino?

Technically yes, but the result is rarely optimal. For single cappuccinos, the 30cl pitcher is better sized – with too little milk in the 50cl pitcher, the steam nozzle loses efficiency.

Is the pitcher dishwasher safe?

Yes. For long-term appearance, hand washing is gentler.

Where can I buy the pitcher or see it live?

Online via coffeecoachingclub.ch with delivery in 2–4 business days throughout Switzerland and to Liechtenstein. On-site in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44, 3011 Bern) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b, 8050 Zurich). Click and Collect available.

Roastery Tip

With the 50cl pitcher, the larger investment is worthwhile for anyone who regularly practices latte art. More milk volume means more leeway when pouring – the tulip or rosetta pattern needs room to move that a small pitcher doesn't offer. Our opinion, one of many.
