The angular, multi-faceted shape is no coincidence. It echoes the silhouette of the first La Marzocco espresso machines from 1927 – those distinctive, twelve-sided housings that remain a reference point to this day. The set was created in collaboration with POLSPOTTEN, the Amsterdam design house known for bold colours and unconventional objects. Each cup is handcrafted from glazed porcelain; the glossy, lightly speckled surface makes no two pieces quite alike. The four colours in the set are deliberately matched to the colour world of the Linea Mini and Linea Micra – anyone with one of these machines at home will see the connection right away. Anyone with a different machine loses nothing: the cups don't brew the coffee, they accompany it.
What arrives in the sip doesn't depend on the espresso alone. The warmth in your fingers, the weight in your hand, the colour your eye catches first – all of this shapes how we perceive a sip before it even reaches the tongue. Vessel, colour and material measurably change perception. A cup, then, is never just a container.
Nobody needs a cappuccino cup in Polygon design with speckled glaze – a plain white mug holds just as much milk foam. Anyone who wants this set wants something else: a small statement on their own counter, four colours that lift the mood before the first sip. That's an emotional decision, not a rational one, and our opinion on it is one of many.

For anyone who loves cappuccino, flat white or their daily milk coffee and wants to give their own coffee corner a bit of character – whether there's a La Marzocco at home or any other machine. No particular machine and no prior experience are needed, just an enjoyment of colour and form.
A cappuccino usually calls for milk foam, and the right pitcher makes that noticeably easier. For anyone who wants a milk pitcher that's affordable and reliable, our Barista Milk Pitcher collection is a good starting point; anyone who wants more will also find the Weber Workshops models there. Anyone who also doses by weight will find a compact, precise scale in our Normcore collection – or one with an app and flow-rate display in our Acaia collection. And anyone eyeing a Linea Mini or Linea Micra of their own will find the full lineup in our La Marzocco collection.

Yes, you can experience the set live in our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b).
Because of the handcrafted, speckled glaze, the pattern varies slightly from cup to cup – that's intentional, not a flaw.
For most people, a colourful cappuccino pairs beautifully with a dense, aromatic coffee from our own roastery: Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight. Anyone looking for maximum body with no acidity at all will find it in Very Nutty. And anyone wanting to discover a fruity experience for a change should try Wild Peach. That's our recommendation – one of many.
