The M5 bracket turns grinding and tamping into a single unit on the counter: your grinder moves from its own spot straight onto the Puqpress M5 module, the path between grinding and distributing gets shorter, and there's less cable clutter. For larger grinders like the Mazzer Robur or Kold, that's more than looks – the stable mounting surface carries the weight cleanly, and less movement between stations means less chance for the grind to drift between two steps. Whether you keep your grinder freestanding or mount it modularly is pure workshop philosophy – our opinion is one of many, and both paths lead to good espresso.
