Rhino Barista Cloth Set – 4 cloths for a clean workspace

One grab, no thinking required: brown for the portafilter, blue for the steam wand, black for everything else.

In everyday barista work, small things add up to a real difference. The Rhino set strictly separates tasks by colour, so the milk cloth stays the milk cloth and nothing gets mixed up.

    What makes the cloths special

Instead of ordinary microfibre, Rhino uses a heavy duty polyamide-polyester blend. It absorbs more moisture and lasts longer – the brown cloth in particular, which takes coffee residue off the portafilter every day, benefits from that. Some people swear by strict colour separation, others get by with a single cloth for everything – our opinion is one of many.

    At a glance

Brown cloth (coffee) 31 × 60 cm, with belt clip
    Blue cloths (steam wand) 2× 20 × 20 cm
    Black cloth (multifunctional) 31 × 31 cm
    Material Polyamide-polyester blend
    Brand Rhino

    Who it's for

For anyone who wants to keep their barista workspace clean and organised – at home and in the café. Whether you use a colour system or not, every route to a clean counter is valid.

You'll find more barista tools in our Barista Equipment. A clean coffee station also calls for the right machine and a milk pitcher that suits your steam wand – for an overview, see our Espresso Machines and our Milk Pitcher Collection.

    Frequently asked questions

    What are the colours for?

The colour separation helps keep tasks apart: brown for coffee/portafilter, blue for the steam wand, black for everything else.

    How many cloths are included?

Four: 1 brown (with belt clip), 2 blue and 1 black.

What material are the cloths made of?

A heavy duty polyamide-polyester blend that absorbs more moisture and lasts longer than classic microfibre.

How do I care for the cloths?

Machine wash separately, no fabric softener. Remove the belt clip from the brown cloth first.

Can I see the set before buying?

Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there.

    Tip from our roastery

A clean portafilter is half the job of a balanced shot. For the large majority, we recommend Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight – full-bodied, aromatic, dense. If you want maximum body without any acidity, reach for Very Nutty; if you'd like to discover a fruity experience, you'll find it in Wild Peach. This is our recommendation, one of many.
