Rhino developed the set for cleaning espresso machines in commercial settings; according to the manufacturer it is just as suitable for machines at home. The cloths are made from a robust blend of polyamide and polyester.
The three cloths in the set
Coffee cloth with belt clip
The brown cloth made of heavy-duty microfibre removes coffee residue from the portafilter and the surrounding machine parts. At 31 × 60 cm it reaches down to the knee, and the clip keeps it on your belt within reach.
Steam wand cloth
A separate cloth for the steam wand keeps milk residue away from the rest of the workspace. Rhino recommends using it slightly damp. It absorbs a lot of liquid and can be refolded several times. Two blue cloths of 20 × 20 cm are included.
Multipurpose cloth
The black 31 × 31 cm cloth is intended for cleaning and polishing the machine. Rhino sees it as a long-lasting replacement for disposable all-purpose cloths and sponges.
