The Appartamento thrives on a single design trick: colour flashes through the side panels. Copper, white or black – that is the difference between a machine that just sits on the shelf and one that tells a story in the kitchen. This item is the side panel in copper, part number A619905749.
It is a purely cosmetic part, and that is exactly why it gets replaced: because it has a dent, because a cleaning agent has dulled the surface, because a move has left scratches – or simply because someone wants to change the colour without buying a new machine.
When it is due
The reason is visible damage: dents, deep scratches, discolouration or dull patches from aggressive cleaning agents, bent edges after transport. Nothing fails technically here – anyone who replaces the panel does so for visual reasons, and that is a perfectly legitimate reason.

What goes with it

Copper doesn't like anything harsh. We only wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and always avoid stainless steel cleaner, scouring cream and degreaser – they dull the surface in a single pass. This is our routine, not a manufacturer requirement. And because a freshly refurbished Appartamento calls for a good espresso: we like to use Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight, and for plenty of body Very Nutty. More in our coffee beans selection.
No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or trial fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
Is this the left or the right side?
The documentation does not specify this. Before ordering, let us know which side you need, along with the serial number – we'll then clarify it with the supplier before you order.
Do I need two for both sides?
The price is per panel. For both sides you need two items.
How does the side panel differ from the panel insert?
The panel insert belongs to the newer TCA series and is inserted into the frame. This side panel is the side itself. The numbers differ: insert copper A619908056, side panel copper A619905749.
Can I change the colour of my Appartamento with it?
Yes, changing the colour via the side panels is exactly what they are designed for. Make sure the number matches your series.
