Varia VS6 Hypernova Ultra Plasma Titanium 63 mm Conical Burrs
Clean, juicy shots with a milder body from your VS6, plus balanced acidity and high clarity for filter – that's exactly what the conical Ultra burrs with double titanium coating deliver.
Coffee Coaching Club is the exclusive Swiss importer of Varia. Burrs and spare parts are in stock with us.
What makes the Ultra conical burrs special
The 63 mm conical burrs are made from 440 stainless steel with an edge hardness of HRC67 and a double titanium coating. That means high durability, good heat resistance and cutting edges that stay sharp longer. In the cup, that means clean, juicy and sweet espresso shots with a mild body, as well as filter coffee with balanced acidity, high clarity and sweetness.

Frequently asked questions
What sets the Ultra burrs apart from the standard Hypernova burrs?
The Ultra burrs have a double titanium coating and a higher edge hardness (HRC67). That brings extra durability and an especially clean, sweet profile.
Are the burrs suitable for espresso and filter?
Yes, for both. For espresso, clean shots with a mild body; for filter, balanced acidity with clarity and sweetness.
Do they fit the VS6 without modification?
The VS6 housing accommodates 58 mm flat and 63 mm conical burrs. After switching, just readjust the grind size briefly.
Roastery tip
The Ultra conical burrs deliver a clean, sweet profile with a mild body – pleasant across many roast levels. After switching, readjust the grind size in small steps. This is our recommendation, one of many.
