Weber Workshops BIRD Travel Bag – Neoprene Sleeve

The BIRD sits in your backpack between jacket and laptop, wrapped in soft neoprene. The Weber Workshops BIRD Travel Sleeve protects glass and metal on the go; buy online in Switzerland or pick up in Bern and Zürich.

Neoprene on the outside, smooth microfibre on the inside that protects the glass and the surfaces of the metal parts from scratches. At the top, a drawstring closes the opening, and a carry handle sits on the side. The sleeve is cut to fit the BIRD and is meant for travelling inside a larger bag.

Coffee Coaching Club is the official Swiss importer of Weber Workshops.

    Who it is made for

For everyone who takes their BIRD along: to the office, to friends, on holiday. The sleeve cushions knocks in hand luggage and keeps the surfaces free of scratches. For checked luggage, or when accessories should travel too, there is the BIRD Travel Case with a hard shell in the Weber Workshops Collection.

On the road you also need beans and a grinder. Hand grinders are quiet and need no power: for everyone who wants to grind affordably and precisely, Timemore. If you want more weight and a larger burr set, you will find more models among the hand grinders. For dosing: compact and precise, the scales from Normcore; with app and flow-rate display, those from Acaia.

Not sure what fits your setup? The advice tool narrows down the choice. Our opinion is one of many.

    Frequently asked questions

Does the BIRD Travel Sleeve protect the glass well enough?

The sleeve cushions knocks and protects against scratches inside a bag. For checked luggage, the BIRD Travel Case with its hard shell offers firmer protection.

Do accessories fit in the BIRD Travel Sleeve?

The sleeve is cut to fit the BIRD itself. The BIRD Travel Case has room for filters, beans and a grinder.

    Is the BIRD included?

No, only the sleeve is supplied. The BIRD is available separately in the Weber Workshops Collection.

Where can I buy the Weber Workshops BIRD Travel Sleeve in Switzerland?

Online at Coffee Coaching Club, official Swiss importer of Weber Workshops. Delivery in 2 to 4 business days to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Click & Collect in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zürich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b).

Tip from the roastery: For the BIRD on the go, we like to grind a little coarser than for espresso and stick to a ratio that suits the cup. Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight bring dense body, chocolate and nut to the filter as well. If you want maximum body without acidity, reach for Very Nutty. That is our recommendation, one of many.
