Sometimes it's nice to restore the inside of the grinder to the condition it was in on the day it left the workshop. The Refresh Kit bundles the most important wear parts for the EG-1.

What's included
Five sets of replacement wipers, a microfibre pad for the lower burr carrier, and a microfibre pad for the lower bearing mount. The microfibre pieces are precisely punched and fitted with a 3M industrial adhesive backing, so they fit perfectly – just like the original manufacturing parts. The wipers are individually punched; the double-sided adhesive is set back from the edge and thus never comes into contact with the coffee. Two alignment holes make replacement easy.

How often to replace
In a café, approximately once a month as needed; for home use, almost never. The microfibre pads last for many years with simple brush cleaning.

Roastery Tip
If retention noticeably increases or more ground coffee remains in the spout, it's often a sign to renew the wipers. A fresh set brings the EG-1 back to nearly zero retention. This is our recommendation, one of many.
