Comandante turns its knobs from solid oak and beech in the Black Forest. With a push button, they fit onto the crank in seconds – pull off, push on, done. This way, you can change size and color whenever you feel like it.
What makes the wooden knob special
The choice begins with the size: The 44mm knob remains compact and close to the original, while the 55mm “Big Joe” offers more surface area and allows the hand and wrist to work more smoothly during grinding – especially for larger hands or longer grinding sessions.
Then the finish: natural and smoked oak show the calm grain of the wood, black appears restrained and clear. The beech knobs add a splash of color with red, wine red, pink, violet, blue, or yellow.
