Flair 58, 58+ and 58+2 Connecting Hook – so everything holds at the lever
A manual lever lives on trust in its mechanics: you lean into the lever, feel the resistance in the coffee bed, and everything stays where it belongs. The connecting hook is one of the small parts that make this moment feel just as good every morning.
The connecting hook holds the components of your Flair firmly together. If the existing hook is worn or damaged, this original part replaces it on the Flair 58, 58+ and 58+2. Flair lists Coffee Coaching Club as its dealer for Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and you can buy the hook directly online from us.

When it's due
When the hook is worn or damaged
Once the existing hook no longer ensures a stable connection, it's time to replace it. A good moment to check is the yearly maintenance: in its manuals, Flair recommends taking apart the joint, piston rod and piston once a year, checking the O-rings and cleaning everything thoroughly.

Who the connecting hook is for
A good fit if you have a Flair 58, 58+ or 58+2 and the hook is worn or damaged. And a good fit if you like to keep a spare part in the drawer, so your morning ritual never has to pause because of one small part.
Our guide to the Flair Espresso 58+2 helps with everything around the machine, and you'll find parts for your machine via Finding spare parts. And if a question remains open: Jackson, our AI advisor, is there for you around the clock.
What goes with it
For the yearly maintenance, the Flair O-Ring Sets are a good match. You'll find more parts in the collection Flair spare parts, the machine itself as the Flair Espresso 58+2 and the whole range in our Flair Espresso collection.

Frequently asked questions about the Flair Connecting Hook
Which Flair models does the connecting hook fit?
The Flair 58, 58+ and 58+2.
When should I replace the connecting hook?
When the existing hook is worn or damaged and no longer ensures a stable connection.
Something wobbles or sticks at the lever – is it the hook?
It might be, but it does not have to be. You will find the most common causes and what you can check yourself in our First Aid for Espresso Machines. If you get stuck, get in touch via Service & Repair, and we will look at it together.
Can I see the Flair Connecting Hook in person before buying?
That depends on whether the hook is on display at the moment. In our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zürich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) we show a wide selection, but not the entire range – it is too large for that, and the display changes. Before your visit, drop us a short message at [email protected], and we will check for you whether the hook is currently there.
Tip from the roastery: After swapping a part, it is worth pulling a shot with a bean you know well. We like to use Nutty Delight or Cozy Chocolate, and for maximum body Very Nutty. You'll find all our beans under Coffee Beans. That is our recommendation, one of many.
