Hoop Coffee Brewer – radial infusion pour-over from Ceado
Insert the paper filter, rinse it, add the coffee, pour the water – and the water draws through the grounds outward, evenly, almost by itself.
The Hoop Coffee Brewer from Ceado is a pour-over with radial infusion. Instead of just flowing downward, the water passes through the coffee bed via side openings at the bottom of the Flow Tower. Ceado developed the Hoop and won the Best New Product Award in the category Consumer coffee preparation & serving equipment with it. Available with us in Turquoise, Ghost and Black.
Features
Four parts
The outer part is called the Outer Loop and holds the water during extraction. Through the openings in the central Flow Tower, the water reaches the coffee, which is filtered through the paper filter. A collection tray completes the set.
Radial infusion
Thanks to the side openings at the bottom of the Flow Tower, the water flows evenly through the coffee bed without creating preferential channels. It passes through the coffee with the same quantity and intensity and only reaches the paper filter after it has passed through the entire coffee bed. Ceado promises a full, concentrated extraction with no effort.
Easy to assemble
Place the paper filter in the Outer Loop, screw the Flow Tower onto the Outer Loop, done. The base measures 6.88 cm. Ceado recommends a sufficiently wide carafe or cup with a low handle.
Brews by itself
Insert the filter, wet it, add coffee, pour water – the Hoop does the rest. The soft infusion runs automatically, the focus is on the coffee and the result. No special knowledge of extraction technique is needed.
The details in everyday use
Easy to clean
After brewing, slightly unscrew the Flow Tower from the Outer Loop, and the paper filter with the coffee comes out by itself. All parts are easy to take apart and can be cleaned under water or in the dishwasher.
Coffee by your own rules
With the Hoop there are no fixed rules. The inventor suggests a recipe as a starting point, and from there you find your own. Grind size, dose and water amount are your variables; the recommended maximum is 20 g of ground coffee.
BPA-free material
The Hoop is made of durable, BPA-free plastic: easy to clean, long-lasting and low-maintenance. At 165 grams it also fits in a travel bag.

Frequently asked questions
What is radial infusion?
The water exits outward into the coffee bed through side openings at the bottom of the Flow Tower, instead of just flowing downward. That way, the grounds are saturated more evenly.
What filters do I need?
Matching paper filters. Up to around 20 grams of coffee on the paper filter is recommended.
Which carafe or cup does the Hoop fit on?
The base of the Hoop measures 6.88 cm. Ceado recommends a sufficiently wide carafe or cup with a low handle.
Is the Hoop dishwasher-safe?
Yes. All parts are made of BPA-free plastic and can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher.
Which grinder pairs with it?
A grinder with a consistent filter grind profile. Our coffee grinders and hand grinders have what you need.
Can I see the Hoop before I buy?
Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there. Delivery throughout Switzerland and to Liechtenstein in 2 to 4 business days.
Roastery tip: Fresh coffee makes the difference. Full-bodied and chocolatey with Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight. For maximum body without acidity, the Very Nutty, for a lighter, fruity profile, the Wild Peach. That's our recommendation, one of many.
