ILSA Rubber Gasket and Metal Filter Plate for "Slancio" Moka Pot, 10 Cups
A replacement set for the ILSA Slancio moka pot in the 10-cup size: two gaskets and one metal filter plate. Gasket and filter plate sit between the base and the upper chamber and keep the pot sealed while brewing.
Over time a gasket hardens and no longer closes cleanly. Steam then escapes at the thread while brewing. With a fresh gasket and a fresh filter plate, the assembly is complete again.
In a moka pot, the ratio of coffee to water decides the cup. We weigh both instead of dosing by feel. Our opinion is one of many.

Tip from the roastery: In a moka pot we like it dense and round: Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight, for maximum body Very Nutty. We grind a little coarser than for espresso and weigh coffee and water. If you are curious about a fruity cup, Wild Peach is a complement to discover. The full selection is in our coffee beans. This is our recommendation, one of many.
