Hario Zebrang Coffee Canister 50 g: airtight, light-proof canister for coffee beans on tour. Coated sheet steel, made in Japan.
Zebrang is the outdoor line from Hario. The canister, model number ZB-CC-50B, holds 50 g of beans, enough for around four cups according to Hario. An inner lid made of polypropylene and a seal made of thermoplastic elastomer close it airtight, and the lid lets no light through.
Buy it online with delivery across Switzerland and Liechtenstein in 2–4 working days, or see it live at our showrooms in Bern and Zurich.
Oxygen, light and moisture make roasted beans age faster. Coffee contains more than 800 aroma compounds, many of them volatile. A tight canister keeps them in the bean for longer.
Ground coffee ages much faster. That is why we take whole beans along and grind on the spot. Our opinion is one of many.

Yes. An inner lid made of polypropylene and a seal made of thermoplastic elastomer close the canister airtight. The lid is light-proof.
Hario mentions beans and ground coffee. We recommend whole beans, because ground coffee ages faster.
Tip from the roastery: For the road, we like to fill the canister with Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight. Both stay dense, sweet and round in the filter too. For maximum body without acidity, go for Very Nutty. For the curious, Wild Peach brings a fruity note to the cup. That is our recommendation, one of many.
