Eureka Mignon Specialita chrome – compact espresso grinder with 55 mm steel burrs
On the touchscreen, you program your dose, place the portafilter in the height-adjustable hands-free fork and press start – the Specialità grinds quietly and stops on its own once the set time is reached. The heavy, sound-insulated metal housing keeps the grinding noise muffled, and the ACE-System lets the grounds fall loosely into the portafilter, without static clumps.
The Mignon Specialità is the best-selling home espresso grinder in the range – compact, quiet and built for portafilter espresso. Coffee Coaching Club carries the Eureka range; Eureka has been hand-making grinders in Florence, Italy since 1920. This version is chrome; the Specialità is also available in matte black and white.
55 mm steel burrs and stepless adjustment
The 55 mm flat burrs made of hardened steel grind fast and evenly. The stepless micrometric adjustment – patented by Eureka and guided through the lower burr – allows fine adjustments from espresso to filter, without fixed click stops. Maintenance work can be done without losing the grind setting.
Touchscreen and Grind by Time
On the touchscreen you program two dosing times in 0.1-second steps, plus a manual continuous grind. A barista pause lets you interrupt the grind and continue later – the grinder automatically finishes the remaining time on its own. The height-adjustable, rubberized hands-free fork fits every portafilter, including bottomless ones.
Silent Technology and ACE
The sound-insulated metal housing with rubber mounts noticeably dampens the grinding noise – quieter than conventional grinders. The ACE-System (Anti-Clump & Electrostaticity) reduces clumping and static charge, so the grounds fall loosely and consistently into the portafilter.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Specialità available in other colors?
This version is chrome. The Specialità is also available in matte black and white – the grinding mechanism and technology are identical.
Is it suitable for single dosing?
The Specialità grinds from a 300 g bean hopper with timer dosing. Single doses are possible, but retention is higher than with a dedicated single-dose grinder. Anyone who constantly switches beans is better served by a single-dose grinder.
How loud is it?
Thanks to the sound-insulated metal housing and Silent Technology, it's noticeably quieter than conventional grinders. The best way to get a real impression is to hear it on site in the showroom.
Can I see it before buying?
Gladly. In Bern and Zürich Oerlikon you can experience the grinder live. Bringing your own beans is welcome.
Roastery tip
The 55 mm steel burrs deliver a clean, balanced espresso. For a round, chocolatey-nutty profile, try Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight. Anyone looking for maximum body without any acidity should try Very Nutty. Work your way toward your setting in small steps. That's our recommendation, one of many.
