So your portafilter stays steady again while grinding
The portafilter holder is the fork you hang the portafilter in while the grinder is running. It takes the full weight and holds the portafilter so that the coffee drops from the chute into the centre of the basket. Sounds unspectacular, but it decides whether your ground coffee ends up in the basket or on the tray.
In the daily operation of a bar, the holder takes the load hundreds of times. At some point it gives way, the mount widens and the portafilter sits at an angle. The dose then drifts to the edge of the basket and the distribution is no longer right. The part is replaced as a whole, part number 900000759.
When it needs replacing
These signs point to a replacement:
- The portafilter hangs at an angle or slips while grinding.
- The ground coffee no longer falls into the centre of the basket.
- The holder has play or visibly flexes under the weight.
- Cracks, deformation or worn contact surfaces.

Who it's for
For bars and offices with an F64 or F83 in continuous use, and for workshops that want to replace a worn mount rather than bending things at the chute. The holder is screwed in place; if you're unsure about aligning it, a technician can do it in a few minutes.

After every holder replacement, we insert an empty portafilter and grind a dose onto the scale. If more than half a gram misses, the holder isn't centred – so we readjust it before the grinder goes back to the bar. That's our routine, not a manufacturer requirement. Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
Does the holder fit the F64 and F83 equally?
It is listed for the EVO Sense and Pro versions of both sizes. For older machines, send us the serial number and we'll check it.
Are screws included?
The holder is supplied. The existing screws are usually reused.
Does every 58 mm portafilter fit?
The holder is designed for the portafilters commonly used on these grinders. For special handles or bottomless portafilters, drop us a line.
Why is my ground coffee missing the basket?
Usually the portafilter isn't centred under the chute. A worn holder is the most common cause.
Can I pick up the part at the showroom?
