Hario Ceramic Coffee Mill Mini-Slim PLUS – Slim Hand Grinder for On-the-Go
Slim enough for your backpack, light in your hand, and with a few quiet turns of the crank, freshly ground coffee is ready – wherever you are.
The Mini-Slim PLUS is Hario's compact travel grinder and the successor to the Ceramic Slim. We carry Hario at Coffee Coaching Club.
What makes the PLUS version special
The ceramic conical burr grinder grinds uniformly, stays sharp for a long time, and doesn't heat up the grounds. The PLUS version has an improved hexagonal connection between the crank and the grinding mechanism – this makes grinding smoother and less strenuous. The grind size is adjustable with stepped settings. The slim shape fits into any bag and sits securely in your hand.

Who it's for
For everyone who wants to grind fresh coffee on the go – when traveling, in the office, or camping. For larger quantities at home, the Skerton range of hand grinders is suitable; if you want to grind espresso-fine and very consistently, check out the Comandante.
What goes with it
An AeroPress or a V60 NEO 02 for on-the-go, filter paper from the Hario collection. Beans like the rounded Nutty Delight or the fruity Wild Peach.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much coffee does the Mini-Slim PLUS hold?
It is compact and designed for one to two cups per grind – ideal for on-the-go. For larger quantities, the Skerton series is suitable.
Is it suitable for espresso?
It is primarily made for filter, French Press, and pour-over. Espresso-fine, very consistent grinding is more reliably achieved with steel conical burr or electric grinders.
What's new compared to the Ceramic Slim?
The PLUS version has an improved hexagonal connection between the crank and the grinding mechanism, which makes grinding smoother.
Roastery Tip
For travel, it's best to grind directly before brewing – this keeps the aroma fresh. For an uncomplicated and well-rounded taste, use Nutty Delight; for a bright and fruity taste, use Wild Peach. This is our recommendation, one of many.
