The heat-resistant version for the group cover
This gasket sits under the group cover and seals the transition to the brew group. It is the VITON version with part number L103/A – the material that copes particularly well with heat and coffee oils.
You can tell its age when the group only stays dry for a few weeks after each retightening. The material hardens, loses its resilience, and the gasket takes on the shape of its groove instead of filling it.
When it's due
There is moisture or a limescale ring under the group cover. The old gasket is hard, flattened or torn. The group has already been retightened and still isn't sealed. Or you're doing a group service and replacing it as a precaution at the same time.

Who it's for
For workshops and for businesses that don't want to improvise when it comes to gaskets. If your machine runs hot continuously, the heat-resistant version gives you the most peace of mind.
Important for installation
The gasket sits in the pressurised brew water line. The machine must be disconnected from the power supply, depressurised and cooled down, and the groove should be wiped clean beforehand. We deliberately do not provide step-by-step instructions here.
Goes well with
From our workshop in Bern and Zurich: At every group service, we note on a strip of tape in the machine base which gasket version was fitted – our own habit, not a manufacturer requirement. That way nobody has to guess next time. For the cup afterwards: Nutty Delight, Cozy Chocolate or Very Nutty from our coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a machine. So before ordering, please check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we'll clarify the fit together. Your rights in the event of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference from L103/B?
L103/A is the VITON version, L103/B the NOVUS version. They are two materials with their own numbers, not the same part.
Which one do I need for my machine?
That depends on what is installed. Send us the serial number and we'll tell you which one fits before you order.
How many pieces are included?
One gasket. Multi-group machines need several accordingly.
Can I replace it myself?
We recommend a qualified technician. The group has to be opened for this, and the part sits in the pressurised line.
Can I see the part at your showroom?
Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – the display changes. Drop us a quick line at [email protected] before your visit, and we will check whether the product you have in mind is currently there.
