The GS3 hot water tap gets its connection back
Behind the GS3 hot water tap, the line has to turn off at a right angle because space between the tap assembly and the housing is tight. This elbow fitting takes a 6 mm hose and connects to a G1/8 thread. It carries water at a hundred degrees – at this point, a damp film is not a cosmetic flaw but a reason to act.
Early signs are a white limescale edge where the thread emerges, drops inside the housing below the tap assembly, or a hose that can be pulled out of the push-in connector by hand. Retightening does not help here – it only causes deformation.
When it is due
Replace the elbow fitting if moisture or limescale appears at the joint, if the hose no longer holds securely, if the body shows cracks or scoring, or if it was damaged during removal. When servicing the hot water tap, it is one of the parts you renew at the same time.

Important for installation
The fitting sits in a hot, pressurised line. Before opening, the machine is disconnected from the power supply, cut off from the water supply and cooled down without pressure – the hot water circuit holds its temperature for a long time. We deliberately do not give step-by-step instructions here.

After every job on the hot water circuit, we leave the machine under pressure for half an hour and place a dry paper towel under the fitting. What does not drip in thirty minutes will not drip in operation either – our routine, not a manufacturer specification. No returns
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fit on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as A.2.101.02?
No. A.2.101.02 is the push-in elbow with a 1/4-inch push-in connector in PPSU, A.2.101 is the G1/8 to 6 mm elbow fitting for the GS3 hot water tap. The numbers belong to the same family, but the connections are different.
Does it also fit the Linea Mini or the Micra?
Our documentation lists it for the GS3. Send us your machine's serial number and we will check the fit before you order.
What material is it made of?
We have no information on this, so we do not claim any. Only the part number A.2.101 is reliable.
Is a seal included?
Only the elbow fitting is supplied. Whether there is also an O-ring or a copper washer at your installation point will become clear on removal.
