What makes the Ultra-Slim Puck Screen special
At 0.8 mm, this puck screen remains slim and takes up little space in the portafilter. It sits on top of the tamped coffee bed, ensuring a softer water flow, helping to reduce channeling, and supporting more even extraction. At the same time, it keeps the brew group's shower clean because hardly any coffee grounds are pulled up when the lever is lifted. Especially with machines where the shower is attached with a screw, a flat disc sits comfortably flush.
The 316 stainless steel mesh features a titanium PVD coating, which gives the surface its dark tone and a hard layer. Whether you prefer an ultra-thin or a thicker screen is a matter of taste – this is just our view, one of many.
