The Pure Brew Filter is a conical filter basket lined with a double layer of fine microsieve. These two microsieve layers retain the finest particles and allow water to flow gently through the coffee bed – the result is a filter-like cup that is more full-bodied and syrupy than a classic pour-over, yet finer and more subtle than an espresso.

Taste and smell are inseparable: a large part of what we perceive as aroma arises retronasally, as coffee passes over the tongue into the pharynx.
