Victoria Arduino E1 Prima EXP – espresso, milk and PureBrew from one group
Espresso, automatically frothed milk and pressureless filter coffee from one compact single-group machine: buy the Victoria Arduino E1 Prima EXP in Switzerland from us, with showrooms in Bern and Zurich.
The E1 Prima EXP belongs to Victoria Arduino's E1 Prima family, alongside the E1 Prima and the E1 Prima Pro. According to the manufacturer, it combines three technologies: NEO for the heating system, PureBrew for filter coffee, tea and infusions, and EasyCream for automatic milk foam. You control it via the display on the machine and the «Victoria Arduino E1 Prima» app.
Features of the E1 Prima EXP
NEO technology
According to Victoria Arduino, NEO (New Engine Optimization) is a multi-boiler system with instant-heating technology: only the amount of water needed for each extraction is heated. This allows for smaller volumes and boilers, which are made of insulated stainless steel. You set the temperature on the display. Victoria Arduino states up to 29 percent lower energy consumption for NEO.
PureBrew technology
PureBrew is an extraction method without pressure. It works with gravity and water pulses in three extraction phases and offers three programmable profiles: light, medium and dark. With the light profile, frequent short pulses create more turbulence; with the dark profile, longer pulses allow more contact time. This lets the same machine make Pure Brew Coffee, tea and infusions, for example as an ingredient for cocktails and mocktails.
EasyCream
EasyCream froths the milk via a double wand and stops automatically as soon as the set temperature is reached. According to Victoria Arduino, up to nine milk recipes can be saved, with air content, milk temperature and foam density set directly on the display. Technically, the system works with Steam by Wire, an air compressor, a proportional valve, a temperature probe and an insulated steam boiler at 2.1 bar.
The details in everyday use
Steam by Wire
The steam is controlled electronically and, according to Victoria Arduino, comes out consistently dry. Together with the perforated tangential nozzle, this is the basis for fine-textured milk foam, even without the automation of EasyCream.
Design
Victoria Arduino describes the E1 Prima EXP as minimalist and made in Italy, with pure, simple lines. The design helped shape the arrangement of the internal components: the result is a compact, slim and ergonomic machine.
Sustainability
According to Victoria Arduino, compact dimensions, materials with high thermal efficiency, the insulation of the components and solutions for reducing waste lower the machine's environmental impact.
The app
The E1 Prima EXP comes with the «Victoria Arduino E1 Prima» app for iOS and Android. The app shows the active recipe with values such as temperature, time and pressure, and distinguishes between espresso and PureBrew.
For espresso, we extract by weight ratio, and 1:2 is a good starting point. Grind size, dose and ratio are your variables to adjust; what is right is whatever tastes good to you. Our opinion is one of many.

Who the E1 Prima EXP is made for
For anyone who wants to make filter coffee, tea or infusions alongside espresso on a single-group machine and bring milk foam to temperature automatically, at home, in the office or in a small café. Nobody needs this machine for good espresso. You want it, for PureBrew, for EasyCream or for the colour on the counter, and that is reason enough.
You will also find the E1 Prima (without PureBrew) and the E1 Prima Pro in our Victoria Arduino collection. Our coffee machine advice tool narrows down which machine suits you, or you can book a free consultation appointment in the showroom, by phone or virtually.
Victoria Arduino is on display in our showroom in Zurich Oerlikon. In the comparison workshop, you can test espresso machines and grinders side by side for an hour, an option, not a requirement. Not every model is set up at all times, so email your preferred model in advance to [email protected].
You will find the conditions for the introductory course with a machine purchase further down this page. Financing available.
What goes with it

What is PureBrew?
An extraction method without pressure, using gravity and water pulses in three phases. Three profiles (light, medium, dark) control turbulence and contact time. This lets you make filter coffee, tea and infusions on the same machine.
What does EasyCream do?
EasyCream froths milk via a double wand and stops automatically at the set temperature. According to Victoria Arduino, up to nine milk recipes with air content, temperature and foam density can be saved.
How big and heavy is the E1 Prima EXP?
According to Victoria Arduino, 411 mm wide, 510 mm deep, 379 mm high and 38 kg in weight, with a power rating of 1000 / 2600 W.
Which colours are available?
From us: Matt Black, Steel, Matt White, Sparkling Coral, Blue Pearl, Metallic Lavender and Roman Coin, as well as a custom RAL colour. The technology is the same in all finishes.
Can I see the E1 Prima EXP before buying?

Tip from the roastery: For espresso and milk drinks, we roast Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight full-bodied, chocolatey and nutty. Maximum body without acidity comes with Very Nutty. For PureBrew and anyone who likes it fruity, Wild Peach is a discovery. That is our recommendation, one of many.
