The MS-130T is a standalone milk frother with digital temperature control from 40 to 90 °C in 1-degree increments. It works independently of your espresso machine and only needs a power outlet. It's especially useful for Flair lever machines, which have no steam, and for single boilers, where a heat-up pause would otherwise be needed after brewing – this way you froth the milk in parallel with the espresso.
The nozzle design breaks up large bubbles and creates a fine-pored texture on its own – you choose the target temperature, and the device stops automatically once it's reached. The result is reproducible – though foam quality also depends on the milk.

The MS-130T is built for automation and repeatability. If you're looking for the classic technique with pitcher and steam wand, you won't find it here. Hard water leaves limescale in the thermoblock over time – water hardness varies widely across Switzerland, and filtered water plus regular cleaning extend its lifespan. And at around 6.7 kg, the device stands stable, but it's no lightweight for constant repositioning. That's our assessment, one of many.
From around 70 °C, milk loses part of its natural sweetness because the lactose denatures; the foam becomes less stable and the flavor flattens out. At 60 to 65 °C, milk is usually at its sweetest and creamiest – exactly the range you can set precisely on the MS-130T.
For everyone who wants to prepare milk drinks without a steam wand or froth in parallel with brewing – whether alongside a Flair, a single boiler, or simply as an independent device on the counter. And for everyone who appreciates a reproducible milk temperature without practice.
The MS-130T complements various setups: Flair lever machines, which have no steam, and single-boiler espresso machines for parallel frothing, and you'll find the complete WPM lineup in the WPM Collection, affordable barista tools in the Normcore Collection and freshly ground espresso from a single-dose grinder in the Varia Collection.
It works completely independently and only needs a power outlet. It especially complements setups with Flair lever machines and single-boiler espresso machines, where you'd otherwise have to wait for steam after brewing.
Yes, it works with all types of milk and plant-based alternatives. Barista versions of oat or soy milk tend to deliver the most consistent foam quality.
The MS-130T has a cleaning program for quick rinse and full clean at the push of a button. Filtered water and regular cleaning help against limescale.

As a coffee roastery, we like milk that keeps its sweetness at 60 to 65 °C. For creamy whole milk in this range, full-bodied roasts like Cozy Chocolate or Nutty Delight pair especially well. That's our recommendation, one of many.
