Cinoart Precision Tamp PTB-FI – automatic tamper with pressure buttons
Portafilter under the grinder, press a button: the Cinoart PTB-FI tamps the puck at 10, 20 or 30 kg, level and the same every time.
The PTB-FI is an automatic 58 mm tamper designed for Fiorenzato grinders. Three pressure buttons, adjustable tamping cycles and a guide for a level coffee bed standardise tamping in the café and at home.
Features
Cast alloy structure
Cinoart developed the structure with force analysis and thousands of fatigue tests so that it withstands high pressure. The materials are chosen to change as little as possible with repeated use.
Overcurrent protection
The fatigue tests showed that the quick movement of the tamper can generate high currents. The electronics therefore include overcurrent protection that safeguards the main board even during long periods of use.
Quick switching by button
Three buttons select 10, 20 or 30 kg, for example for single and double shots. You can adjust and save the pressure of each button. The right button sets 1 to 3 tamping cycles so that no ground coffee sticks to the basket rim.
Counting function
Press the «*» button together with «20kg» to start counting the number of uses. Cafés can track how often the tamper is in use.
Guided Leveling System
A guide on the tamper keeps the surface of the coffee bed level every time. Place the portafilter on the platform; the pressing process takes 1.2 seconds.
Also fits Mazzer and Mahlkönig
The PTB-FI is built for grinders from Fiorenzato. With an additional frame it also fits, according to the manufacturer, Mazzer (Mini doser, Mini electronic A, Lux D, Super Jolly, Major, Kony, Robur, Kold) and Mahlkönig (E65S, E65S GBW, E80S, E80S GBW).
