Eureka TPA Rack – spare part for the Auto-Tamper
The Auto-Tamper takes the most consistent movement of the day off your hands: always the same pressure, always the same height, no matter who is standing behind the grinder. For it to stay that way for years, the mechanical parts inside need to run smoothly.
The manufacturer lists this part under the designation TPA Rack with the part number RIC-TPA.7700-028. It is a component of the Auto-Tamper series and is replaced as a single part during servicing. We're happy to check in advance which version is fitted in yours – send us the serial number and we'll clarify compatibility before you order.
When it's due
When the Auto-Tamper no longer runs smoothly, audibly catches or its movement stalls. When visible wear or a break on this part is found during servicing. And when a service document gives you exactly this part number – then you're in the right place.

Important for installation
The part sits inside the Auto-Tamper. For the replacement, the device is opened and disconnected from the mains beforehand. We recommend fitting by a qualified professional and, on request, we'll do the installation in our workshop.
Who it's for
For service technicians repairing a Eureka Auto-Tamper. And for businesses that want to order a repair using a part number from the service documentation instead of sending in the whole device.
What goes with it
The gear for the Auto-Tamper and the felt for the Auto-Tamper belong to the same assembly. We carry the complete device as the automatic tamper for the Atom. You can find more parts under Eureka and under Coffee grinder accessories and spare parts.
Tip from our workshop
When we open an Auto-Tamper, we photograph its condition before the first step. During reassembly, this one picture regularly saves half an hour of searching. That's our routine in Bern and Zurich, not a manufacturer requirement. For dialling in afterwards we use Nutty Delight, for chocolatey notes Cozy Chocolate and for body Very Nutty. All roasts under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are sourced specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on a device. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a quick message and we'll clarify compatibility together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.
