The Flair 58 Etched Puck Screen is an improvement over any sintered mesh screen because it is easier to clean and remove and does not require pre-wetting to prevent edge cracking.
The Flair 58 Etched Puck Strainer, beautifully finished with the Flair 58 logo, provides a softer and more even water delivery to the coffee bed and is an improvement over the original Flair 58 Sintered Mesh Strainer. This etched screen is easier to clean, does not retain fine particles, and does not require pre-wetting to prevent edge cracking.
This etched screen with the Flair 58 logo is made of magnetic stainless steel and offers the possibility of easier removal with any magnet, including that of the movable mirror. This material also allows for faster preheating compared to sintered mesh.
