Hario V60 Buono 1.0 Liter Kettle – swan neck spout for controlled pouring
The narrow stream lands exactly where you want it, circles calmly over the coffee bed, and the pace stays entirely in your hand – that's what the long, curved neck of the Buono is made for.
The Buono has been a well-known name in pour-over for years, because it makes pouring precise and easy to control. We carry Hario at Coffee Coaching Club.
Why the swan neck
The long, narrow spout gives you a fine, even water stream and with it control over pace and placement. That's exactly what determines even extraction in pour-over: where and how fast the water lands shapes the flavour in the cup. The stainless steel Buono works on all stove types, including induction. It doesn't have temperature control – if you want to set the water temperature to the degree, take a look at an electric kettle from the Varia collection.

Who It's For
For everyone brewing pour-over, Chemex or AeroPress who wants a controlled water stream – no electricity, simply on the stove. The 1.0-liter version works well for one to two cups per brew; if you need more, go for the 1.2-liter version from the Hario collection.
What Goes With It
A V60 dripper like the V60 NEO 02, filter papers from the Hario collection, a scale with timer from the Normcore range or the Acaia collection and a grinder from the hand grinders. Beans like the fruity Wild Peach or the round Nutty Delight.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Buono induction-compatible?
Yes. The stainless steel Buono works on all stove types, including induction.
Does the Buono have temperature control?
No, it's a stovetop kettle without a temperature display. If you want to set the temperature to the degree, choose an electric kettle with control.
Why only 0.6 liter boiling amount at 1.0 liter volume?
So nothing overflows while boiling and swirling, the recommended fill amount stays below the total volume – that gives you a secure hold while pouring.
Roastery Tip
For pour-over, a good starting point is around 92 to 96 °C. Without a thermometer: after boiling, take it off the stove briefly and wait about half a minute to a minute. It turns out beautifully clear with Wild Peach. That's our recommendation, one of many.
