The right-hand steam shut-off valve of your Doppia – valve and fittings in one order
The shut-off valve is the most inconspicuous part in the steam path and the one servicing depends on: with it you shut down one side of the machine without stopping the whole operation. Because it is hardly ever moved in everyday use, its condition only becomes apparent when it is needed – and then it does not hold.
This kit brings the valve together with the two fittings that belong to it. So everything is ready on installation day, instead of a threaded connection missing and the machine standing idle for half a day.

When the closed valve keeps letting steam through. When moisture or limescale rings appear at the threaded connections. When the valve is hard to move or the thread suffered during the last repair.

Important for installation
The kit sits in the pressurised steam line. Before any work, the machine must be disconnected from the mains, depressurised and cooled down. We deliberately do not provide step-by-step instructions here – steam fittings need the correct tightening torque and the correct sealant, otherwise they will leak under operating pressure.

Workshop tip from Bern and Zurich
At every service we fully close and reopen shut-off valves once, even if nobody asks. A valve that stands open for years is the one that no longer seals in an emergency. This is our workshop routine, not a manufacturer requirement. For dialling in afterwards we use Nutty Delight, for chocolatey notes Cozy Chocolate and for body Very Nutty. All roasts under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Original spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured to order and cannot be resold after installation or a test fitting on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or drop us a line and we will clarify the fit together. Your statutory rights regarding defective goods remain unaffected.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the right and the left kit?
The scope of delivery. The right kit contains one valve and two fittings, the left one a valve, a straight fitting and a 90-degree fitting. Order the side you need.
Is this a solenoid valve?
No. This is a purely mechanical shut-off valve without a coil and without an electrical connection.
What thread sizes do the fittings have?
The thread dimensions are not stated in the documentation for number R219906868. We make no claims about this – write to us and we will clarify it before you order.
Does the kit also fit other Rocket models?
It is listed for the RE Doppia. If in doubt, send us the serial number of your machine and we will check the fit.
