Weber Workshops Steam Dial Adapter M8.5x0.75 (Male) – Rocket, Decent, ECM, Isomac, Lelit
The Weber Workshops Steam Dial comes from the factory with a 1/8 BSPT thread (28 TPI). Many steam wands use a different thread. This adapter with an M8.5x0.75 external thread connects the Steam Dial to the wand of machines from Decent, Rocket, ECM, Isomac and Lelit.
The adapter screws in between the steam wand and the Steam Dial and matches the thread. Which thread your wand has depends on the model and year of manufacture. For some Rocket and ECM machines, Weber Workshops also offers an M10x1 adapter with internal thread (Female). So check the thread on your steam wand before you buy.
Why an adjustable steam outlet makes sense: how quickly air is drawn into the milk and how fine the foam becomes depends on steam pressure and the size of the opening. A fixed tip behaves differently on every machine and with every amount of milk. With the Steam Dial, you adjust the opening. Whether you need that difference is your call – our opinion is one of many.
