ECM Elektronika Profi Due – Heat exchanger with 4-liter copper boiler
A sleek stainless steel casing, a large 4-liter copper boiler, and commercial-grade technology: The Elektronika Profi Due is the big sister of the Profi II and is designed for demands up to small-scale gastronomy. A machine for those for whom steam reserve and continuous operation are important. ECM is a German manufacturer based in Bammental near Heidelberg, producing handmade machines in Germany and Italy.
Coffee Coaching Club is an ECM partner in Switzerland. With every new coffee machine from CHF 1'500, a private barista introduction course of around 60 minutes is included – in Bern, Zurich or online, for up to two people from the same household or company attending together. Large Copper Boiler
The 4-liter copper boiler provides ample steam reserve – even when several milk-based drinks are prepared consecutively. A commercial pressostat control with automatic boiler filling ensures stable operation.
Electronic Dosing
Four cup filling volumes can be dosed automatically, and a star button allows for manual dispensing. An automatic cleaning program is also included.
Rotary Pump and Fixed Water Connection
The built-in rotary pump operates quietly. Operation via fixed water connection or water tank is possible. The heavy, high-gloss chrome-plated ECM brewing group maintains stable heat.

Does the Profi Due have one or two brewing groups?
One brewing group. "Due" stands for the model generation, not for two groups. The large 4-liter boiler and commercial technology distinguish it from the Profi II.
Can I connect it to the water mains?
Yes. Operation via fixed water connection or water tank is possible. We can set up the connection upon request during delivery.
How long does it take to heat up?
Due to the large 4-liter boiler, it takes a little longer than the compact models – plan for around 25 minutes.
Can I see the ECM Elektronika Profi Due live before buying?
That depends on whether the ECM Elektronika Profi Due is on display right now. Our showrooms in Bern (Gerberngasse 44) and Zurich Oerlikon (Hagenholzstrasse 50b) show a wide selection, but not our entire range – it is too large for that, and the display changes. Roastery Tip
The large copper boiler is advantageous for milk frothing: You have enough steam to perfectly texture several portions in a row. With a heat exchanger, a short blank shot before pulling the espresso helps ensure the brewing water doesn't start too hot. This is our recommendation, one of many.
