Espresso-ready, high-quality grinder – Brewing espresso with the Flair 58 Plus 2 is both a work of art and a science. It is impossible to optimize espresso extraction with inconsistent grind settings. Therefore, an espresso-ready grinder is required for use with your 58 Plus 2. Expect to spend at least 100 CHF and look for a machine with a stepless grind setting.
High-quality kettle – Although a temperature-controlled kettle is not required for brewing with the Flair 58 Plus 2, it will definitely make your workflow and experience more pleasant. Choose at least a kettle with a thermometer so you can precisely control the heat supply.
Digital scale – Any scale will do, but to get repeatable results, both input and output should be measured. This includes dosing your beans, measuring the output into your cup, and measuring the flow rate.
